advantages of guava

do you like guava and do you know his benefits??

here's my  thought about guava..




Psidium guajava or guava is a shrub plant that many branches. Can reach 12 meters in height, while the leaves are oval-shaped, rough and dull. It also has white flowers and fleshy fruit and seed lots.
This plant is widely grown in farms in the interior of the house and in the rocky lands. This plant can reach the height of 1200 meters above sea level. This plant is included in the Myrtaceae family or tribe.
The plant contains tannin in the leaves, bark and fruit. It also contains a lot of fats, resins, oils evaporate and mineral salts. Guava also contains guaijaverin avikularin and nutritious as antibacterial.
Guava has many uses, among which are the roots, bark and stems and leaves boiled in boiling water, then drink the water that is suitable for treating abdominal pain and diarrhea. The broth can also be used to clean the mucous membrane found in the infant gut (prolapsysani). Lesions can be treated by using guava leaves if the leaves are pounded and plastered on the wound area.
Guava is the healthiest fruit for vitamins and minerals to the human body ...
The fruit is also effective in lowering the level of cholesterol in human blood and are good if consumed daily.
Guava belongs to the group of functional foods which brings benefits to human health.
However, guava fruit intake should be made in an amount sufficient to ensure that the food is able to respond effectively to the body.
Head of Nutritional Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Dr. Rokiah Yusof said, people are advised to take the pink stone of 400 grams a day, half a piece for four weeks.
According to him, the fruit should be eaten with the skin-skins as it contains high nutrition.
Besides eaten alone guava juice but can also be made to original way of preparation there is no sugar in it.
Dr.. Rokiah told, guava suit taken to the practice of a balanced diet, especially for those suffering from weight problems.
She advises that guava become a norm in the style diet.
She said, for those who face problems of high cholesterol levels in the blood, guava can reduce the cholesterol of 18.8 percent in the week.
"But patients must take guava fruit every day to ensure its effectiveness," she said
